About the artist:
Lucia has seen some highs and lows in her day. She originally started out as an aggressive singer for the band Drill, where she was notorious for her intense screams. After gaining some momentum from the success of the first album, the band went back into the studio to get started on making a second record, but before they could finish, the rug was pulled out from underneath them, and as the result of a record label merger, Drill was dropped from their label. Following that set back, Lucia got a surprising call from KMFDM frontman Sascha Konietzko. Sascha hired the singer and introduced Lucia to a larger audience, and from time spent with KMFDM, Lucia was able to begin on her first unaccompanied project. The result of her personal labor is From The Land Of Volcanoes, an in-depth peak into the mind and spirit of this experienced Seattle-based singer.
Lucia is currenty touring with KMFDM!
